Questions

What is transactional email?

It is email sent to one person because of something they did, such as a passcode, a receipt or a password reset. It is different from marketing email sent to a list.

Can I send OTP emails?

Yes. Send them by API or SMTP, and use a template with a variable for the code.

Do transactional emails need an unsubscribe link?

Usually not, because they are about something the person did. Marketing email always needs one, and campaigns add it for you.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in India. Backups are encrypted before they are stored off-site.
