What you can track

  • Delivery history

Every recipient of every email, with each step and the receiving server's reply.

  • Rates over time

Delivery, bounce, complaint, open and click rates by day and by stream.

  • By mailbox provider

See how Gmail, Outlook and others are treating your email, so a problem with one is easy to spot.

  • Bounce reasons

See why messages bounce, grouped by reason, and fix the cause.

  • Open and click tracking

Turn tracking on for a domain, or per email through the API. Open counts are an estimate, because some mail apps load images for privacy.

  • Events in your own tools

Webhooks send every event to your server, so you can keep your own reports.

How to read your numbers

  1. 01

    Delivered

The receiving server accepted the email. It does not guarantee the inbox.

  2. 02

    Bounced

The email was refused. Hard bounces are suppressed so they are not mailed again.

  3. 03

    Complained

Someone marked your email as spam. Keep this below 0.1%.

Questions

What is a good bounce rate?

Lower is better, and a high rate usually means an old or poor list. The dashboard warns you when your rate rises too far.

Are open rates accurate?

They are an estimate. Some mail apps load images automatically, and others block them. Clicks and replies are stronger signals.

Can I turn off tracking?

Yes. Open and click tracking are settings for each domain, and the API can override them per email.

Does delivered mean the inbox?

No. It means the receiving server accepted the message. It may still choose the spam folder.
